One of the best tools the DNC has to protect and expand the vote in a rapidly shifting landscape is our fantastic online voter resource hub, IWillVote.com. If you’d like to read more about the tool as a whole, I’d recommend checking out this article from last year, or if you’d like to read more about the polling place lookup widget, check this out. In 2018, this tool reached over 50 million people. So far this year, we’ve seen over 1 million polling place lookups. IWillVote is a source of truth for voters nationally. As such, it is essential that we maintain and update IWillVote to fit voters’ changing needs and the current environment.

In advance of the June elections, we are actively updating IWillVote.com to improve accessibility and highlight vote-by-mail options.

In this ever-changing COVID-19 world, so many things are uncertain, but voting should not be one of them. We plan to release more information about what specific updates we are making in early May, but it’s important to note that while Republicans are fighting against expanding vote-by-mail (the safest way to vote right now), the DNC is actively prioritizing it.
